How to Make Cheap Wine at Home

So you want to know how to make cheap wine at home? But first of all you should know that making wine is a complex matter that must be made by competent persons. Getting a good wine from grape clusters can not be due to chance, especially now that the oenological techniques are perfected, if not sophisticated.

If the climate, soils and grapes are important factors for the success of wine, talented winemaker can enhance these natural elements.

The grapes must be picked at the right time, and go through a process of crushing, fermentation, maceration and pressing. The pressing should prepare the grapes for the malolactic fermentation (a process of a change in wine where tart malic acid is converted to softer-tasting lactic acid. It is accomplished by lactic acid bacteria (such as Oenococcus oeni), which consume malic acid to produce energy. It can occur naturally. However, in commercial wine making, malolactic conversion typically is initiated by an inoculation of desirable bacteria. )

But since you want to know how to make wine at home – here is a recipe for making orange wine at home.

You will need:
2 litres of rosé wine,

1 / 2 litre of brandy,

Zest of 2 oranges (untreated),

5 coffee beans,

500g of sugar,

1 cup 1 / 2 water.

Place the orange zest in a large jar sealing. Add the coffee beans, wine and brandy. Let it all rest for a month. After a month filter your wine and make syrup from sugar and water. When cooled, mix the wine and the syrup together and put the mixture into bottles.
